The last Kincaid XC of the year is this coming Tuesday. Start & Finish is at the Kincaid Stadium. Firm cut off at 6:30 pm for onsite registrations. Save time and money by signing up online prior to race day.

2015 Arctic MTB Trifecta

All new this year, with three races in both Anchorage and Girdwood, the Trifecta replaces the AK Mountain Bike State Champs. Save when you sign up for all three races or pick and choose your battles throughout the weekend. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for more info on a Friday night pre-ride of the XC course.SCHEDULE

Additional details below:
  • Registration: Online registration will close on Wednesday, August 5th at 9:00pm. You may register for the entire series and/or individual races. Online registration will remain open for individual events until 9:00pm the evening prior to an individual event.
  • Series registration includes the Tour banquet on Sunday, 8/9 and participant swag.
  • Single Event Participation: For all divisions, riders may participate in single events, however only racers who complete all stages will be eligible for GC awards.
  • Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards will be given for all divisions (Men & Women). Racers must complete the entire series to qualify for awards. New this year – $1,500 Cash Prize Purse!
Banquet & Awards
Sunday, August 9th, 5:00 PM at Hilltop Chalet

Family and friend welcome – this is always a great time!
$10 per person not registered in the series (kids 12 and under free)
Join us for good eats & beverages (beer too!). Final awards will be presented and there will be schwag!  We need an early head-count for the Banquet – please register additional attendees at one of the races.
Volunteers Needed – Please!
This event could not happen without our great volunteers. We are in need of a few volunteers to assist with timing, course flagging and more. If you are interested please email the race directors.

Get ready, get set, it’s time to ride!  Come on out and join the Arctic Bicycle Club for the 15th Annual Bike for Women. Join us and other cyclists in this fun 9-mile bike event for women.

The event is limited to the first 700 registrants and fills up every year, sometimes very very quickly, we recommend getting signed up early!

This is a great event to practice your skills for the Gold Nugget and Eagle River Triathlons in a fun and comfortable atmosphere.

The Bike for Women is a benefit for the Arctic Bicycle Club promoting cycling opportunities in Alaska, advocating for cycling in our community and more!

Bike for Women will also benefit Let Every Woman Know.

Let Every Woman Know – Alaska is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness for gynecologic cancer and providing support for women within the state who have been diagnosed with these diseases. Proceeds donated to Let Every Woman Know will fund projects and programs specifically for Alaskan women.

Jeff Dusenbury Ghost Bike Memorial & Other Club News this Week.

Ghost Bike Memorial  – Just prior to the End of the Season Gathering –  (tomorrow) Wednesday

They are setting the Ghost Bike Memorial in memory of Jeff tomorrow night (Wednesday) at 6:00pm at Spruce Park where Jeff was killed.  Just a casual get together of people wanting to be there to remember Jeff and to raise Bike Safety Awareness.  Melissa & Madi will be there and would appreciate your support.  Join us at the memorial just prior to the ABC Road Race Division post season gathering.
